Now Available: Updated eCQM Data Element Repository (DERep) for CY 2025 Reporting and Performance Periods

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has updated the Electronic Clinical Quality Measure (eCQM) Data Element Repository (DERep) [ https://ecqi.healthit.gov/mc-workspace-2/data-element-repository ] to provide information on eCQMs used in CMS quality reporting and incentive programs for the calendar year (CY) 2025 reporting and performance periods.

The eCQM DERep provides clarification, definition, and clinical focus for data elements used in CMS quality reporting programs. Each data element also includes the associated value set or the direct reference code (DRC), the Quality Data Model (QDM) datatype, the QDM attributes, and QDM entities used by that data element. The eCQMs for CY 2025 reporting and performance period use QDM v5.6 [ https://ecqi.healthit.gov/sites/default/files/QDM-v5.6-508.pdf ].
