CMS Updates Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders (SUD) Medicare.gov Content
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is excited to share that it has updated its Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders (SUD) content on www.medicare.gov [ http://www.medicare.gov/ ]. The content updates are part of the CMS broader Behavior Health Strategy and will make it easier for users to access mental health and substance use disorder information. The CMS Behavioral Health Strategy translates our goals into a framework focused on outcomes and focuses on three key areas:
* Substance Use Disorders Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery Services,
* Ensuring Effective Pain Treatment and Management, and
* Improving Mental Health Care and Services.
