CMMI Model Data Sharing (CMDS) Initiative Makes New Model Participation Data Available to Researchers

CMS is pleased to announce the availability of Research Identifiable Files (RIFs) for several CMS Innovation Center models and initiatives.

*CMMI Model Data Sharing (CMDS) Model Participation Files*

CMS is releasing new participation data for the following initiatives:


* Prior Authorization of Non-Emergent Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy [ https://www.cms.gov/files/document/prior-authorization-non-emergent-hyperbaric-oxygen.pdf ]
* Initiative to Reduce Avoidable Hospitalizations Among Nursing Facility Residents [ https://www.cms.gov/priorities/innovation/innovation-models/rahnfr ]
* Transforming Clinical Practice Initiative [ https://www.cms.gov/priorities/innovation/innovation-models/transforming-clinical-practices ]

These three initiatives join the existing models, initiatives and demonstrations that have released data since 2022 as part of the CMS Innovation Center Model Data Sharing (CMDS) initiative. *Oncology Care Model Clinical and Staging Research Files*

CMS is pleased to announce the availability of a new set of Research Identifiable Files (RIFs) for the CMS Innovation Center’s Oncology Care Model (OCM) [ https://www.cms.gov/priorities/innovation/innovation-models/oncology-care ] CMS is releasing data from the model as a suite of two files:


* The Clinical and Staging file contains practice-reported staging and clinical data, which includes basic information on the episodes attributed to model participants.
* The Current Clinical Status file contains practice-reported, cancer-specific clinical and staging patient status values.
