New 2025 Quality Benchmarks and Other Resources Available on QPP Website

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has updated the QPP website to include 2025 Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) webpages and resources. Learn more about the updates below.

2025 Quality Benchmarks

We’ve published 2025 historical benchmarks for quality measures on the Benchmarks webpage [ https://qpp.cms.gov/benchmarks ] of the QPP website. Benchmarks are the point of comparison we use to score the measures you submit. Your performance on each measure is compared to its benchmark to determine how many points the measure can earn.

From the Benchmarks webpage [ https://qpp.cms.gov/benchmarks ], you can download:

* 2025 Quality Benchmarks
* 2025 Quality Benchmarks User Guide with Scoring Examples
* 2025 Multiple Performance Measure File

2025 Explore MVPs

If you’re interested in reporting a MIPS Value Pathway (MVP), review the MVPs finalized for the 2025 performance year on the 2025 Explore MVPs webpage [ https://qpp.cms.gov/mips/explore-mips-value-pathways?py=2025 ] to determine if there’s an available MVP that’s applicable to your scope of care and practice.

2025 Explore Measures & Activities

The Explore Measures & Activities tool [ https://qpp.cms.gov/mips/explore-measures?tab=qualityMeasures&py=2025 ] on the QPP website can help you get familiar with the available measures and activities for each performance category under traditional MIPS. The Explore Measures & Activities tool [ https://qpp.cms.gov/mips/explore-measures?tab=qualityMeasures&py=2025 ] has been updated to include measures and activities for the 2025 performance year, with links to the individual specifications.

Request a Meeting with CMS to Review QCDR Measures for the 2026 MIPS Performance Period

CMS will conduct QCDR measure preview meetings for the 2026 MIPS performance period between February 17, 2025, and May 30, 2025. The last day to request a meeting is *May 16, 2025*. QCDR measure preview calls provide an opportunity for CMS to preview measure concepts and offer constructive feedback prior to Self-Nomination. This includes new QCDR measure concepts as well as prospective updates to existing QCDR measures. Preview calls are intended for QCDR measure review discussions only. QCDR measure decisions aren’t made on preview calls.

* To request a 2026 QCDR measure preview meeting:
* Send an e-mail to QCDRVendorSupport@GDIT.com and provide:
* Several available dates and times over a two-week period,
* Names and e-mail addresses of your team members that you would like invited to the meeting, *and*
* Number of QCDR measures you’ll submit for discussion.

* *At least 7 calendar days prior* to the scheduled meeting, please send your QCDR measures and specifications using a single Microsoft Word or Excel document to QCDRVendorSupport@gdit.com. If the Microsoft Word or Excel document isn’t received at least 7 calendar days prior to the scheduled meeting, the meeting may be rescheduled. CMS requires time prior to the meeting to thoroughly review your QCDR measures in order to provide useful feedback and recommendations. QCDR measures that aren’t submitted for review prior to the meeting won’t be discussed during the meeting.

To accommodate all requests, CMS will prioritize requests made by those who haven’t yet had a meeting.
