We just finished marking the Global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence [ https://www.unwomen.org/en/get-involved/16-days-of-activism ], an annual campaign that takes place between November 25 and December 10 to accelerate the prevention and elimination of gender-based violence wherever it occurs. The Women’s Bureau participated in the #16Days by sharing new and existing resources and engaging with partners at the federal, state and local levels. Here’s a recap of our work and resources. Please share widely!

*Extending our partnership with the International Labour Organization Office for the U.S. and Canada*
We've renewed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the International Labour Organization (ILO) Office for the United States and Canada, through which our organizations have worked together to end gender-based violence and harassment (GBVH) in the world of work, with support from the Department of Labor’s Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB). This renewed partnership also aims to strengthen care infrastructure, a key priority for the Department and the ILO, by uplifting international best practices in U.S. policy and programs, while also elevating U.S. domestic initiatives and progress in global meetings and exchanges.
