What’s New in the CMS Technical Reference Architecture 

Version TRA 2024 Release 3.0 (Released October 2024)

 

Updated: Enterprise DNS Services

The Network Services chapter on DNS Services is updated to reflect the Enterprise DNS Service provided through the DRaaS-CACHE program and CMS Hybrid Cloud.

Updated: Software as a Service Governance

The Application Development chapter on Software as a Service (SaaS) is updated to reflect new policies for SaaS Governance.

Updated: Enterprise File Transfer

The Data Management chapter on File Transfer is updated to reflect current information and documentation for CMS Enterprise File Transfer.

Updated: CMS Email SMTP Relays

The Network Service section on Email Services and Application Development Business Rules (BR-SA-10) are updated to reflect mandatory changes to CMS Enterprise Email as a Service and the use of SMTP relays.

Updated: CMS Strategic Guidance and Preferred Solutions

The TRA Foundation topic CMS Strategic Guidance and Preferred Solutions is updated to reflect the discontinuance of the CMS batCAVE service in September 2024 and to reflect nomenclature changes in Enterprise Services.
