An Encore Presentation of the "Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management Strategies from Practice to Policy" Prevention Forum
*CP3 is hosting an encore presentation of its latest Prevention Forum, featuring a live Q&A with the original panelists. *
Did you miss the chance to register for our first Prevention Forum of 2025? CP3 is offering an encore presentation of “Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management Strategies from Practice to Policy” as a chance for more people to experience the original event and ask questions live with our esteemed panelists.
The Prevention Forum will focus on behavioral threat assessment and management (BTAM) strategies and how BTAM strengthens our nation’s prevention abilities across every level of government, the private sector, and in local communities. In this free virtual event, you will learn about BTAM, the success of multidisciplinary BTAM teams, and how our panelists have implemented effective strategies for long-term targeted violence and terrorism prevention.

Dr. Jennifer Cohen will give an important introduction of BTAM and provide insight into available NTER resources [ https://www.dhs.gov/nter ]. NTER works collaboratively with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial and private sector partners to build capacity to recognize the warning signs of terrorism and targeted violence, triage suspicious activity reporting, and address threatening or concerning behaviors before an individual escalates to violence.
