NATIONAL APPRENTICESHIP WEEK IS LESS THAN 45 DAYS AWAY !

As we approach this year's *10th Annual National Apprenticeship Week [ https://www.apprenticeship.gov/national-apprenticeship-week ]* (NAW), now is the time to start gearing up. You can get involved in NAW 2024 by hosting an event to showcase your programs, facilities, and current apprentices to career seekers in your communities.

Not sure where to start?  You might want to check out the event page for the U.S. Department of Labor's (DOL) *NAW 2024 public webinar* [ https://www.workforcegps.org/events/2024/07/29/17/43/National-Apprenticeship-Week-2024-Public-Webinar ], which was held on August 21st.  Nearly 1,000 people attended this session, which shared ideas for how to connect to NAW.  During the webinar, attendees heard from previous year NAW event hosts about their events and activities to spur ideas for events to host during NAW 2024.  Also, speakers from industry, labor, the apprentice community and more shared how to use NAW to lift up stories about how Registered Apprenticeship has transformed lives.

Please refer to the *WorkforceGPS event page* [ https://www.workforcegps.org/events/2024/07/29/17/43/National-Apprenticeship-Week-2024-Public-Webinar ] where you will also find the *webinar recording* [ https://vimeo.com/1001655025 ],  the *slide presentation* [ https://d2leuf3vilid4d.cloudfront.net/-/media/Global-Site/Content/ETA-Webinars/2024/08-August/081524-National-Apprenticeship-Week-2024-Public-Webinar/NAW24_Presentation.ashx?rev=394d837ab1f04afcbe4a480b0237f825&hash=AFC417AAA0F37D50C60B15AFA5B13E7E ], and answers to the series of questions posed during the event.
