07/07/2024 - Marketplace SSM Patching - PROD

* Marketplace PROD
* SSM Linux & Windows Vulnerability Patching

*Actions we are taking:*

As part of our normal patching, the CMS Cloud team will apply the latest Windows and Linux patches on Sunday, 07/07/2024 at 12:00 a.m. ET.  The week's patches will impact the PROD* *environment for the affected Marketplace applications noted below. 

*When is this happening?* 

Start Time: Sunday, 07/07/2024 at 12:00 a.m. ET

End Time:  Sunday, 07/07/2024 at 6:00 a.m ET

*Who will be impacted?*

FFM_Opera, FFM MLMS, FFM SERTS-SERVIS, FFM_TWS, VAMS, CRMS, XES - CyberArk, XES - Service Virtualization, MCIM, zONE

*What is the impact? *

Patches will be transmitted to the affected areas. For some ADOs, reboots may occur depending upon the tags applied.

*07/07/24 - BigFix Endpoint Config Updates- Phase 2*

*Summary*


* Automated deployment of endpoint configuration file changes.

*Actions we are taking*

As part of system maintenance, the CMS Cloud team will apply configuration changes to client endpoints. The new client configuration will replace the current backup relay.  

*When is this happening?*

Start Time: Sunday, 07/07/2024 at 9:00 a.m. ET

End Time: Sunday, 07/07/2024 at 5:30 p.m. ET

*Who will be impacted?*

 All AWS Commercial accounts with the BigFix agent installed on the client.

*What is the impact? *

The configuration file change will be replaced, but will not cause the endpoints to restart. The customers will experience no impact or outage during the configuration file change. 

*Benefits of the change*

Upon completion, of this change customers will have improved performance with the new relay.

*Summary*

Updated Gold Images for the Windows, Amazon Linux 2, and RedHat Enterprise Linux Operating Systems are in development and will be released for consumption next week to all CMS Cloud environments.
