*This message is for users of the PECOS PI and AI applications in the Production environment.*

Please be advised that the CMS PECOS PI and AI applications in the Production (PROD) environment will not be available beginning at 09:00am EST to 12:00pm EST on Saturday, 10/05/2024 due to the R7.51.8 code deployment.

_The following PECOS PI enhancements are included in this release:_


* Updates to add Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) Provider Type and content units OTP Ordering Personnel and OTP Dispensing Personnel.
* Updates to the OMB reference number and the OMB expiration date for the 855S form.
* Updates to comply with the new 855A form policy updates, PECOS will collect ADDITIONAL DISCLOSABLE PARTY (ADP) of the SNF. PECOS will now have two workflows for Organizational Control and Individual Control, with and without PII information.
* Updates to comply with the new 855A form policy updates.
* Updates to collect Medical Records Correspondence Address, Electronic Storage Information, Date of First Patient at Practice Location, Hospital provider type questionnaire Hospital Transplant Program Subgroup/Subunit and corresponding organ types, Organization Control Telephone, Fax, and Email, Individual Control Telephone, Fax, and Email.
* Updates to default the country to United States for the Billing Agency Address, Correspondence Address, and Organization Control Address.
* Updates to text in the Final Adverse Legal Actions, Penalties for Falsifying Information, and Certification Statements for AO and DO.
* Updates to the IRS Designation and Type of Organization Structure to Organization Information topic.
* Updates to change the IRS Business Designation and Type of Business Structure to the Organization Control topic options.
* Updates to remove the Incorporation Date and State where Incorporated Information.
* Updates to remove the Chain Home Office Topic.
* Updates to collect chain home office information in Organization Control for the Chain Home Office and in Individual Control for the Chain Administrator.
* Updates to the OMB reference number, and the OMB revision date for the 855A form.

_The following PECOS AI enhancements are included in this release:_


* Updates to add Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) Provider Type and the associated OTP Ordering and  Dispensing Personnel.
* Updates to systematically suppress required errors listed as part of this enhancement when approving enrollment with status reason Stay of Enrollment. MACs should continue to open CRTs if they encounter errors not listed as part of this enhancement for a Stay of Enrollment.
* Updates to comply with the new 855A form policy updates, PECOS will collect ADDITIONAL DISCLOSABLE PARTY (ADP) of the SNF. PECOS will now have two workflows for Organizational Control and Individual Control, with and without PII information.
* Updates to comply with the new 855A form policy updates.
* Updates to collect Section 4 Medical Records Correspondence Address, Electronic Storage Information, Date of First Patient at Practice Location, Section 2 Hospital Transplant Program Subgroup/Subunit and corresponding organ types for Hospital provider type, Section 5 Organization’s Telephone, Fax, and Email, Section 6 Individual’s Telephone, Fax, and Email, and Section 8 Billing Agency Doing Business as Name.
* Updates to default country to United States for the Section 8: Billing Agency Address, Section 4: Correspondence Address, Section 5: Address.
* Updates to change the Section 2: IRS Designation and Type of Organization Structure options.
* Updates to add to the Section 5: Organization IRS Business Designation and Type of Business Structure.
* Updates to remove the Section 2 Incorporation Date and State where Incorporated Information.
* Updates to remove Section 7: Chain Home Office.
* Updates to collect the chain home office information Section 5 for the Chain Home Office and in Section 6 for the Chain Administrator.

_The following PECOS Extracts enhancements are included in this release:_


* There are no enhancements to Extracts with this release.
