Splunk Degradation Notification
________________________________________________________________________
*Summary:*
The current Splunk Production cluster is experiencing performance degradation with usage often exceeding recommended thresholds. This elevated load diminishes overall performance, increases indexing latency, and slows down search query response times. To prevent further issues we are performing emergency maintenance at 9pm this evening.
*Actions we are taking:*
Adding 9 indexer nodes as an immediate measure to reduce the overall load as well as the performance impact.
*When is this happening:*
Start time: Feb 14th, 9:00 PM
End time: Feb 18th, 6:00 AM
*What is the Impact:*
Please be aware that during this change window there will be latency in Splunk searches. Dashboards might also be rendered with incomplete data.
