The Office of Disability Employment Policy is announcing “Celebrating Value and Talent” as the theme for the 80th annual National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), which will be observed this October.

As part of the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary in 2026, our upcoming NDEAM observance will honor the value and talent that American workers with disabilities contribute to our nation’s workplaces and economy. Throughout NDEAM, we will highlight the achievements of people with disabilities, both past and present. That’s the spirit behind this year’s official theme: “Celebrating Value and Talent.”
