"*30-day Comment Period for an Information Collection Request (ICR) for the Medicare Transaction Facilitator for 2026 and 2027 under Sections 11001 and 11002 of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA)*"

The ICR for the Medicare Transaction Facilitator for 2026 and 2027 under Sections 11001 and 11002 of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) [ https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2025/04/01/2025-05530/agency-information-collection-activities-submission-for-omb-review-comment-request#addresses ] is now available. The updated documents are available here [ https://www.cms.gov/medicare/regulations-guidance/legislation/paperwork-reduction-act-1995/pra-listing/cms-10912 ].  This ICR previously underwent a 60-day public comment period, concluding on December 27, 2024; CMS has made revisions to this ICR based on public comments and is releasing the documents for a further 30-day public comment period. CMS invites public comments on the information the federal government will collect related to maximum fair price (MFP) effectuation and the Medicare Transaction Facilitator. Respondents to the forms included in this ICR will include manufacturers of drugs covered under Part D selected for negotiation under the Inflation Reduction Act for the initial price applicability years 2026 and 2027, and the dispensing entities that dispense the selected drugs to MFP-eligible individuals, as well as other interested parties. The ICR is open for public input for 30 days. The comment period will close on May 1, 2025; comments can be submitted here. [ https://www.reginfo.gov/public/do/PRAMain ]
