We Value Your Input: Follow-Up on AHA IT Supplement Survey

Your hospital should have received a survey related to your hospitals’ use of health IT from the American Hospital Association (AHA). The AHA IT Supplement survey is supported by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). HHS uses data from the survey to monitor key trends, evaluate current policies to support the use of health IT and inform future efforts to advance interoperability. However, these activities hinge critically on garnering responses from a diverse group of U.S. hospitals. In the past, response rates from certain types of hospitals have been low, making it difficult to draw any conclusions to help inform policy. *Your response to the IT Supplement* *is crucial* to enabling HHS to develop effective solutions aimed at filling gaps in health IT adoption and use and addressing persistent barriers to exchange and interoperability. We therefore urge you to please fill out the 2024 AHA IT Supplement so that your perspectives and experiences are captured.
