05/25/2024 - Enterprise Testing Services Maintenance

*Summary*

In order to keep up to date with the latest versions and security advisories, the CMS Cloud team will be performing maintenance updates on Enterprise Testing tools.

*Actions we are taking*


* Update Selenium Box Hub and Executors with the latest Amazon Linux 2 Gold Image for CMS Cloud. 

*When is this happening?*

Start time: Saturday 05/25/2024 at 9:00 a.m. ET

End time: Saturday 05/25/2024 at 11:59 a.m. ET

*Who will be impacted?*

All AWS Commercial and GovCloud customers of Selenium Box.

*What is the impact? *

Customers should expect downtime for the service as instances are restarted within the maintenance window.

05/29/2024 - Marketplace SSM Patching - IMPL

*Summary*


* Marketplace IMPL
* SSM Linux & Windows Vulnerability Patching

*Actions we are taking:*

As part of our normal patching, the CMS Cloud team will apply the latest Windows and Linux patches on Wednesday, 05/29/2024 at 9:00 p.m. ET.  The week's patches will impact the DEV/TEST environment for the affected Marketplace applications noted below. 

*When is this happening? *

Start Time: Wednesday, 05/29/2024 at 9:00 p.m. ET

End Time:  Thursday, 05/30/2023 at 12:00 a.m ET

*Who will be impacted?*

FFM_Opera, FFM MLMS, FFM SERTS-SERVIS, FFM_TWS, VAMS, CRMS, XES - CyberArk, XES - Service Virtualization, MCIM, zONE

*What is the impact? *

Patches will be transmitted to the affected areas. For some ADOs, reboots may occur depending upon the tags applied.

05/30/2024 - batCAVE Infrastructure Maintenance - PROD

*Summary*

In order to keep up to date with the latest versions and security advisories, the batCAVE PROD Infrastructure will be upgraded to the latest Gold Image and the nodes will be rotated. 

*Actions we are taking*

Update the AWS AMI Gold Image to the May 2024 image release by performing node rotations.

*When is this happening?*

Start Time: Thursday, 05/30/2024 at 9:00 p.m. ET.

End Time: Friday, 05/31/2024 at 2:59 a.m. ET.

*Who will be impacted?*

batCAVE ADO development teams and their users: FFSDCS, QMMS, SDL, DACS, CyberGeek, EPPE, eRPT, SIGNAL.

*What is the impact?* 

Customers should expect a short downtime as instances are restarted within the maintenance window.

05/31/2024 - Enterprise JIRA Cloud Support Incident form optimization 

*Summary*

The CMS Hybrid Cloud team will conduct maintenance on Enterprise JIRA (https://jiraent.cms.gov/) to update the incident form on May 31st, 2024 beginning at 4:00 p.m. ET.

*Actions we are taking*

Update the Jira CLDSPT Incident form to optimize data entry by eliminating unnecessary fields.

*When is this happening?*

Start Time: Friday, 05/31/2024 at 4:00 p.m. ET

End Time: Friday, 05/31/2024 at 5:00 p.m. ET

*Who will be impacted?*

All Enterprise Jira CLDSPT Users

*What is the impact? *

The CLDSPT customers in (https://jiraent.cms.gov/) will observe an updated incident form in the production instance. It will be briefly unavailable during the maintenance window outlined above.

*What are the benefits?*

This revised form simplifies incident ticket submission by eliminating questions not pertinent to immediate resolution of incidents.
