We have an apartment of approximately 500 ft2 for rent in a converted half-basement of a house in Takoma Park.

The entrance is on the ground floor and overlooks a 1.5 km north-south trail and creek behind the house, which is quiet and full of nature. Deer and rabbits often come out and bird watching can be enjoyed.　Rooms are separate private living room, kitchen, bedroom, bath ・ toilet.　6-7 minute walk to Giant supermarket, CapitalOne Bank, Bank of America, etc.　 Take Metro Bus 12 or 13 to Silver Spring or Takoma Park Metro Station in 15 minutes.　Takoma Park Metro is a 20 minute ride to downtown DC.　During rush hour, it takes 50 minutes to an hour to get to DC from my house, including transit.　During the day and after 7:00 pm, buses are less frequent and it may take an hour and a half.

You will have access to a bed, table, study desk, chest of drawers, refrigerator, small induction stove, microwave, toaster oven, electric kettle, 3-cup rice cooker, and terrestrial TV.　WiFi is also available for free.　Dishes and cooking utensils are also available.　You can use the washer and dryer upstairs on weekends for 1 load ＄ 3 if you let us know the day and time in advance.　If you need to do laundry on weekdays, you will have to go to Laundry Mat （ 6-7 minutes walk ）.
